We’d like you to meet the cute little boxer named Romeo and his human. Romeo has a special story that truly touched my heart and I had to share. Romeo’s family found out that Romeo had severe inoperable bone cancer and knew their time with the pup would be short-lived. Rather than dwell on the sadness of his condition they decided to make Romeo a bucket list that any dog would dream of having the opportunity to experience. Romeo’s family included some pretty awesome things like riding in a fire truck, going on a blind date with another boxer, a cheeseburger dinner, sitting in a police car with the sirens howling, having a beer with good friends and finally visiting the United States. Romeo is a special dog and here is his story captured in a series of pictures.

It sure breaks my heart to see that Romeo has passed away but it is obvious just how much he was loved and how happy his time here with his family was. It is amazing how strong of a bond we form with our best friends and the unconditional love we receive from them. Our pets display the definition of true love and loyalty and they deserve the same respect from us.
