Sadly, Golden Girl Betty White passed away 12/31/2021 just weeks before her 100th birthday. She was born on Jan 17, 1922. She moved from her hometown of Illinois to Los Angeles during the Great Depression. That’s when she pursued acting by getting the lead part in her high school musical in 1940 which eventually turned into film acting.
