Owning a dog is one of the best things in the world – most of the time. They are always happy to see you when you get home from work, they can be goofy and protective and they can be your best friend.
One of the only downsides to dog ownership is cleaning up their poop. It’s something that has to be done, no matter how bad you don’t want to do it. Luckily, there is a solution and it’s called the ‘Beetl’.
The Beetl is an autonomous dog poop robot that will go and hunt down dog poop and pick it up for you.

Similar to the famous Roomba vacuum or the new robotic lawnmower, it will automatically scoop up dog poop throughout your yard.

It uses a front camera and a real-time image analysis to detect poop.

It will also avoid obstacles and focus solely on finding only the poop with its advanced sensor fusion and computer vision.

Once the Beetl finds the poop, it picks it up with a mechanical claw.

It then puts the poop in the sealed container inside of it.

Unfortunately, it’s not quite available yet and there is no definite release date.

The camera will also allow you to create boundaries along edges of your lawn so it won’t go roam your entire neighborhood looking for random poop.
