The best part about having a backyard is being able to create your own outdoor entertainment area. Someone’s backyard is typically used for creating smiles, memories and a place for everyone including the dogs to enjoy. Well what better attraction to gather around and create a good time than a backyard bar. As we all know a backyard feature can climb in price very quickly but it seems a man named Paul Nowak has found a way to create the perfect backyard gathering place and the grand total was only $112!
Paul Nowak is a hobbyist woodworker from England. His latest project turned out amazing because it cost nearly nothing but produced something awesome.
He has always wanted a backyard bar so he started by collecting pallets in order to build a structure.
The pallets were free and are easily found. The bar needed a roof and a fresh coat of paint which ended up being the bulk of the cost.
His friend owns a bar and provided some old bar mats and beer taps for free.
After he rounded up all the necessary supplies it only took a couple of days to make it all come together.
He says he’s always been a fan of woodworking and he regrets not following it completely after school.
He brought out some power and installed a small fridge beneath the bar. He hopes that someone will see his work and request that he build them a backyard budget bar.
His backyard budget bar was a success as soon as he posted it online. He has already received over 47,000 likes and 75,000 comments.
He was lucky to have a friend with a bar to give him so much bar swag to decorate with.
So if you want a bar in your backyard to look like this, you might want to make some friends that own a bar or save a few more bucks for the decorations which make or break any good bar.
The black paint looks very clean and highlights the drinks, taps and bar mats.
I think it would have looked really good if he left the face of the bar the natural pallet wood color in order to offer a little more contrast and depth.
It does match his awesome deck though and looks like it was supposed to be there all along.
This is the first bar he’s built but he has helped many of his friends and family build decks. He enjoys woodworking and has a good foundation to expand on.
His bar even gained the attention of a local beverage company. They sent him a couple of cases of delicious drinks for free to stock his new bar.
I’d say this might be the best $112 Paul has spent yet.
This bar is the perfect place to gather and enjoy a few drinks with your friends on a nice and sunny day outside.
