Bovine And Barley, along with Mad Tree Brewing Co., are the two companies to give thanks too for this brilliant idea. They have both adapted to the self isolating world by converting the company vehicle into an ice cream truck for adults. They will bring mixed drinks or beer right to your doorstep as they cruise through your neighborhood. And the best part is, a visit with the local adult ice cream truck will cost you no more than a night at the bar.
Each truck has a plethora of menu options and the beverages aren’t out of the normal restaurant or bar price range.
To ensure you do not stay thirsty after they leave, Bovine and Barely offers three different drink sizes.
You can choose between a single or double shot, 12 ounce or 20 ounce respectively.
They also offer a ‘party package’ that packs a whopping 355ml of liquor (about 8 shots) along with five pints of beverage!
Considering the party pack comes with about eight shots, it only amounts to just over $6 per drink.
That is not a bad price for alcohol delivered to your door.
The Bovine Barley’s menu consists of your standard drinks like piña coladas and margaritas.
You also can’t forget the mojito’s and moscow mules!
Of course, they also offer a few beer options as well.
They sell chips and salsa for $6, and the deal of a century – house made potato chips for only $1.
Bovine and Barely mainly services the Downtown Houston, TX area.
The Mad Tree Brewing Co. is currently servicing several different area codes in Cincinnati, OH.
They offer a wider selection of brews compared to Bovine and Barely.
Seeing as they are microbrewery instead of a bar, unlike Bovine and Barley, their ‘adult ice cream truck’ is packed with several different of their house brews.
They do not have the large selection of frozen and mixed drinks like the Bovine and Barely truck.
