There are so many amazing and beautiful places to see in the world. But what happens when some of our favorite places become abandoned attractions, only left to be forgotten? Could you imagine if places like Disneyland or Universal Studios closed their doors tomorrow, and the locations were left abandoned to succumb to the elements around them? It would seem almost crazy that enormous places like that would ever cease to exist, but that is exactly what happened with these abandoned popular attractions. They closed their doors forever, leaving behind a lot of memories and a lot of eery pictures. Check these out!

I always find it amazing that places like Jazzland or El Hotel Del Salto could be abandoned. I understand that places do go out of business, but with the potential of revenue these places offer you would think an investor would try to purchase them before the buildings and everything in it go to waste. Most of these abandoned places are beyond saving, and would now just have to be torn down and turned into something completely new.
