Imagine spending $23,000 on a plane ticket. Yes, you read that right, twenty-three thousand dollars for a flight. Seems unreal, right? Well, Derek Low had enough frequent flyer miles stocked up, so he decided to splurge and spend that much for a luxury suite on a Singapore Airlines flight. Lucky for us, he documented the entire experience through pictures. Here is his story:
He arrived at Singapore Changi Airport and proceeded to the Singapore Airlines counters for check-in.

He had almost forgotten that Changi had a luxurious check-in lounge specially for First Class and Suites passengers, set apart from the rest of the check-in areas.

Thank goodness he remembered, or else he would’ve courteously and professionally assisted by the lady at the regular check-in desk!

Soon, he was in possession of The Golden Ticket.

The Golden Ticket.

This led him to the luxury section of the airport that he didn’t even know existed.

There were comfortable lounge chairs.

And delicious food.

Amazing, one of a kind food.

After breakfast, he was finally allowed to board his flight.

There were only 3 people in the luxury suites, so his room was extra big this time.

As soon as he sat down, he was asked if he wanted Dom Perignon… Of course.

And handed a paper from every major city.

His chief steward was a young man named Zafrullah.

Who was also the young man on the safety video.

After having a few drinks, he decided to check out the accommodations.

Bose headphones for starters.

And an essentials kit which had a full bottle of cologne too.

Everything was Givenchy.

Time to kick back and start lounging.

But first, more delicious food.

These plates look just heavenly.

After he was done eating, he was able to take a tour of the entire plane. This is the large staircase leading out of the suites.

When he got back, he was asked if he wanted his bed made.

The wall between the two suites comes down and a beautiful bed is made.

And it wasn’t small either.

Each suite is equipped with a do not disturb button as well.

And their own private bathroom.

When he awoke in the morning, he asked for chocolate and received 2 tasty bars.

And a breakfast of champions.

And finally after a mid-air vacation he landed in New York City.
