1,000 Musicians Play A Foo Fighters Song As A Plea To Play In Their Town

Have you ever dreamed of being part of something big? Something bigger than yourself, where the collaboration with your fellow-man is meant to accomplish a greater purpose. It really is something that comes with a feeling of complete satisfaction when you reach your goal and realize that it was the cooperation with the people next to you that made it possible. Well rockers from all over Italy felt the urge to be part of something bigger, and boy did they do it. In an empty field gathered 1,000 musicians to play a Foo Fighters song called “Learn To Fly”. These musicians came together from all across Italy to be part of something awesome, but they really only had 5 people in mind for who they wanted to see the video, the Foo Fighters. The creator of the project, Fabio Zaffagnini makes an impassioned plea to all the members of the Foo Fighters to come and play a concert for the people of Cesena, Italy. This is really going all out to try to set yourself apart to try to accomplish something like this. Fabio had been working on this project for over a year, and all the musicians paid their own expenses to travel to Cesena to play just this one song for this project.

This is such an amazing video. The work that must have gone into this project would be absolutely enormous. Can you imagine having sound checks for that many drummers, bassists, and guitar players? The end quality after editing though is absolutely fantastic and it sounds so well done. Now all that’s left to do is see if Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters respond in kind by giving these talented and devoted musicians a concert of their own.
